Marty entered the financial services industry in 1988 after a career as a geologist for small oil and gas companies in central Ohio. He became affiliated with the Rider + Reinke Financial Group, LLC in 1996, bringing with him an expertise in creating analytical solutions to clients' financial concerns.
After entering the financial services arena with a bachelor's degree in Geology from Miami University, Marty furthered his studies at The American College in Bryn Mawr Pa, where he has acquired the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®), and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations. He also has a Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation.
Marty is licensed in Ohio, and several other states, to provide insurance products to his clients, and is a Registered Representative of MML Investors Services, LLC, so he also has access to a wide array of investment products to his clientele in those same states.
Originally from the Cleveland area, Marty relocated to Columbus in 1979, and then to Hilliard in 1991, where he resides to this day with his wife, Doreen. He is a Past Board Member of the Columbus Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (CAIFA) and a past Treasurer of the Ohio Geological Society (OGS). Marty teaches Life and Health licensing classes at Morton Barber Learning Center and is an adjunct instructor at The American College for Financial Services. He is also a Past President and Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club of Hilliard, where he has served as Great Debate Chairman, Scholarship Committee Chairman, and Foundation Chairman. It is through the Rotary Club that he also became a Guatemalan Literacy Council Fellow.
